(Saving Lives Of Inner City Kids)

MIM offers at-risk youth a second-chance opportunity to obtain the educational, employment, and life skills they need to get on the right path and build successful, purposeful lives for themselves and their families. MIM provides critical support for young people, who all too often are forgotten casualties of societal indifference.

ABOUT US

ABOUT MENTORS IN MOTION

Mentors In Motion (MIM) is a nationally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, registered in the State of Missouri, dedicated to providing quality mentoring and educational programs to youths at-risk, throughout the St. Louis Metropolitan area. Our goals are to inspire, educate, motivate, and empower the creativity of youths through music, technology, career development, healthcare assessments and various extracurricular activities. Our emphases are in the areas of Science, Technology, Reading, Entrepreneurship, Arts, and Math (STREAM). We have assisted over 15, 576 youth throughout the St. Louis Metropolitan area since 2009, and set our sights on reaching more. MIM has been recognized by local and national organizations, such as, The City of St. Louis-Mayor’s Office, the Missouri House of Representatives, St. Louis University, Boeing

Corporation, and national radio-host Tavis Smiley for producing and promoting social enterprise programs which impact the community positively. Our goals are to help at-risk-youths with life skills that encourage building a responsible life and contribute positively to their communities.

The purpose of the funding request is to sustain our programming, expand our services to more youth, and to support their mental health, especially during this pandemic. These funds will be an asset to our organization.
